Josh is the bass player and lead singer for CIH.  Josh's voice can growl like an old man who has lived a life of the blues.   Josh is an excellent  bass player and often plays for accomplished blues musicians such as Magic Slim and Lil' Slim.  His favorite blues musicians include Magic Slim, BB King, Albert King and Freddie King.  His favorite blues songs include Got My Mojo Workin', Hideaway and Dust My Broom.  In addition to the blues, Josh enjoys The Police, Otis Redding, Jaco Pastorius and The Killers.  Josh also writes the lyrics and helps write the music for CIH's original music.

 

Outside of the band, Josh participates in his school choir, jazz band and drama. His favorite tv shows includes Psych, Modern Family and Frasier.  Josh’s favorite movies include The Blues Brothers, Star Wars, Gran Torino and Standing in the Shadows of Motown.  Josh’s goal is to be a professional touring and studio musician.

 

 

 

Mikey is the guitarist and youngest member of CIH. Don't let his age fool you as Mikey can trade licks with the best.  Mikey is self taught and has played the guitar for 4 years.  He listens to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Magic Slim, Buddy Guy and Freddy King as well as Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC.  His favorite songs include Scuttle Buttin', Pride And Joy and Got My Mojo Workin'.  He has lightning quick fingers and especially likes fast blues swing numbers.  If you catch him playing in his rock band, you will hear him close the set with a wicked version of Free Bird.

 

Outside of music, Mikey likes to hang with his friends.  On the tube, he’s a big fan of Family Guy and Tosh.0. His favorite movies are Step Brothers, Zombie Land and The Blues Brothers (The Good Ol’ Blues Brothers Boys Band firing up some Rawhide). His goal is to play music full time and make enough money so he doesn’t have to work. The sky’s the limit.

 

 

 

Casey is the drummer for CIH.  Casey is one of the finest drummers in Lincoln Ne, regardless of age. He is a musician's musician as he has musical tastes that are as diverse as music itself.  Casey listens to blues musicians from Howlin' Wolf to Elmore James and Magic Slim.  His favorite songs include All Your Love by Otis Rush, Splanky by Count Basie, Little Lion by Mumford & Sons and Sub Human by Kopek.  In addition to blues, Casey listens to The Kings of Leon, The Airborne Toxic Event, Muse and Scars On Brodway to name just a few. He loves to play music with a funky edge.

 

Casey also enjoys playing in his high school marching band and jazz band.Outside of music, he enjoys destroying bad guys on the PS3, watching football and mixed martial arts.  On the tube he likes to watch the Discovery and History channels and movies he finds on Netflix.  His favorite movies include Transporter, Inception and The Other Guys.  Casey hopes to have a long career in music and to possibly teach.

 

 

 

Ben is the guitarist for CIH. He lays down his solos with the soul of an old blues musician.  Ben has diverse taste in music, his favorite blues musicians include Albert King, Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Magic Slim, Johnny Winter, Ana Popovic, Joe Bonamassa and The Honeyboy Turner Band.  Outside of the blues, Ben listens to Slash, Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam, Pat Methaney, Louis Armstrong, Tower of Power and Weather Report.  He listens to songs from What is Hip to War Pigs to Nighttrain.

 

Outside of music, Ben enjoys hanging with friends, running in cross country, and listening to music with his friends. His favorite television shows include Southpark, Family Guy, The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. His favorite movies include Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Get Him to the Greek, Spinal Tap and Airplane.  Ben hopes to study music in college and make it a career.
